Zaccarias Moussaoui says he wants to plead guilty, but there`s a catch that could make an already complicated case more chaotic. Analysts say it is rare for a defendant who is acting as his own lawyer to make the government such an enticing offer. By doing so, they say, Moussaoui could force prosecutors to decide whether to give up their quest to have him executed or reject his offer and turn their backs on a potentially lucrative source of terrorism intelligence.
