A new survey by Avertium shows that as many as 39% of organizations are under-prepared to respond to a data breach, and about three in four are having difficulty dealing with the rising number of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, as well as the growing complexity of the cyber tech stack.
When it comes to specific threats, companies are most worried about phishing (81%) and malware (67%). While the vast majority of companies (93%) provide some sort of cybersecurity awareness training to their staff, only 58% of firms regularly carry out phishing simulations to test their employees’ ability to spot phishing attempts.
