Kurdish guerillas attacked a police station in southeast Turkey with shoulder-fired rockets overnight, killing one policeman and injuring seven others, police said on Wednesday. The attack followed a week of street clashes between Kurdish protesters and police sparked by the funerals of 14 Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) rebels killed in clashes with troops. Sixteen people have been killed in the protests, prompting Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan to make a call for national unity in parliament on Tuesday to halt the disturbances. Full Story
