More Canadians were reported assaulted while visiting Mexico over the past seven years than any other travel destination, federal documents reveal. A total of 1,133 Canadian travellers reported to Canadian authorities they were assaulted on foreign soil between the years 2000 and 2006. Of those, Mexico leads the list with 173 reported assault cases. China was next with 105 and Cuba with 62. Thailand was fourth with 45 and the United States followed with 40. Full Story
