A new Glasswall survey shows that while many security leaders depend on staff to keep the company safe, they are very worried about how those same employees may actually pose a threat to the firm. 40% of senior security professionals fully rely on staff as the last line of defense in their organization’s security strategy, while this is mostly true for another 45% of respondents. However, 42% of security leaders believe employees can easily fall for phishing attacks and put the business at risk through reckless acts.
The report also found that in general, security experts are mostly worried about threat actors engaging in espionage from within their IT infrastructure, network failures and ransomware.
