A new report by A10 Networks highlights the growing threat of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks to global communications service providers. The study found that even though a majority (54%) of providers expect the DDoS threat to rise, less than three in ten (29%) believe they can effectively respond to these attacks.
Most communications service providers also believe they are falling short when it comes to threat prevention and detection, with only 34% and 39% of companies expressing confidence in these abilities, respectively.
