Executives at one in two (49%) companies do not have complete visibility into their IT assets or are not aware of their level of visibility, a new report by Fidelis indicates. Because 69% of organizations say that their cyber terrain is growing, visibility issues are likely to increase in the future.

The study also found that only 42% of respondents were confident that they could make an inventory of all their vulnerable network assets, while 55% either stated that their firm is not strategically placing sensors to prevent blind spots, or were not able to say if their sensors have been strategically installed.
