Ascension Health has disclosed that a data breach exposed the data of 5.6 million individuals.

Ascension Health has disclosed that a data breach which occurred in May exposed the data of 5.6 million individuals. The stolen data did include personal information such as social security numbers. Some sources have reported that the Black Banta ransomware group was responsible for the attack, but the group has not claimed responsibility for the attack.
