A vulnerability in a Verizon App has exposed the call records of millions of users.

The Verizon Call Filter has been found by researchers to be vulnerable to third party theft of data. The vulnerability potentially allwoed third parties to fraudently request call logs of app users by directly accessing the central end point of data storage for the app. The third party owner of the app has patched the vulnerability after being contacted by researchers. There is currently no evidence that the vulnerability was exploited.
