Polish Space Agency Hit by Cyberattack

Polish space agency POLSA has been hit with a cyberattack, prompting the agency to disconnect its network from the internet. POLSA said that they immediately disconnected from the internet in order to secure data after the hack. The agency has reported the incident to authorities and launched an investigation, but has not yet shared any information on the type of cyberattack that occurred. It is possible that POLSA was targeted by ransomware, as the agency’s response would be typical in a ransomware attack. However, a nation-state attack should not yet be ruled out given Poland’s support for Ukraine.
