Warring parties in Ivory Coast officially declared the war in the west African country over and pledged their loyalty to President Laurent Gbagbo, nearly 10 months after fighting aimed at ousting the leader first erupted. The joint declaration was made at a ceremony attended by representatives of troops loyal to Gbagbo and the three former rebel groups, as well as Gbagbo himself, religious leaders and members of the diplomatic corp.
