US Vice-President Dick Cheney says there are no plans to close the Guantanamo Bay prison, responding to growing criticism of the facility. In an interview for Fox News TV to be aired on Monday evening, Mr Cheney says that those prisoners who remain there are “bad people” and “hardcore”.
