Evaluators will study how the state’s hospitals accept, assess and treat large numbers of volunteer patients, and how Acute Care Centers are established under emergency conditions. Acute Care Centers are created outside of hospital settings so the sick and injured can report there instead of hospital emergency rooms. Full StoryEvaluators will assess the responsiveness and efficiency of emergency responders, epidemiologists and laboratory workers.
