State Prosecutor Eran Shendar is considering holding a disciplinary hearing for Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Danny Ayalon, for allegedly submitting unwarranted expenses to the state and offering benefits to those who agreed to testify on his behalf. The matter came to light in a report on an investigation, which the deputy civil service commissioner for disciplinary matters, Yoram Chelkovnik, gave Shendar on Wednesday.
