Tamil Tiger rebels in Sri Lanka say they will allow Tamils to vote in the 17 November presidential election. The leader of the largest Tamil group in parliament said the rebels would not interfere with the electoral process. There will be no voting in Tiger areas but polling booths are to be set up just outside rebel-held territory. Full Story
