Gunshots reverberated daylong in the heart of Srinagar as CRPF troops fought a pitched battle with terrorists claiming to be from the Al Mansoorian, a Lashkar-e-Taiba wing, and bullets bounced off homes and shops. The gunbattle was on till late evening and at least four policemen and a civilian had been killed and seven injured.
