An Al-Qaeda cell has claimed responsibility for a series of car bomb attacks that rocked Algeria’s Kabylie region which interior ministry officials say killed up to six people and injured 13. “The valiant mujahedeen (holy warriors) succeeded Tuesday morning in simultaneously exploding six car bombs, which targeted several police and (national) guard stations in Kabylie,” the group said in an online statement.
