Two explosions tore through a crowded market area in the northern city of Kirkuk on Saturday, killing at least five people and injuring 17, police said. The first blast came from a car rigged with explosives and was followed by a suicide attacker who drove a bomb-laden car into a busy area, which included a bus depot in a mostly Kurdish district of the city, authorities said.
