A suicide bomb that ripped through the centre of Afghanistan’s eastern town of Gardez on Sunday killed 10 Afghan civilians and wounded 30, the interior ministry said. NATO’s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said meanwhile it had suffered casualties in an incident in Paktia province, of which Gardez is the capital, but it could not confirm it was the same blast.
