Israel Monday handed over the bodies of two Hizbollah fighters who died battling the Jewish state in southern Lebanon, in what analysts said could be a precursor to a prisoner exchange. An Israeli security source said Israel would get information on Israeli captives held by the Shi’ite Muslim guerrilla group in exchange for the bodies of two men who died in 1998 and 1999. Hundreds of Lebanese men, women and children gathered in the border town of Naqoura to await the handover and waved yellow Hizbollah flags as loudspeakers blared nationalist songs.
