The Pakistan Government has reportedly denied allegations that Pakistani nuclear technology was transferred to Libya to help it develop weapons. The New York Times newspaper quotes United States officials as saying Pakistan was Libya’s source of uranium-enriching technology. However, it said there was no evidence the Pakistani Government was involved. Libya said in December that it was abandoning all efforts to develop weapons of mass destruction. The announcement followed nine months of secret talks with the US and Britain. Full Story
