Federal agents on Saturday arrested Mexico City’s former finance secretary, who disappeared this year after he was videotaped spending what appeared to be taxpayer money at casinos in Las Vegas. Gustavo Ponce was taken into custody Saturday in Cuernavaca, Mexico’s Attorney General’s office said. No further details were available. Ponce disappeared more than seven months ago after television stations showed a video of him gambling in Las Vegas and handing out thousands of dollars in tips. Full Story
