Argentina has agreed to let U.S. customs officials do security checks on containers being shipped out of its Buenos Aires port, becoming the first Latin American nation to do so.Under an agreement signed on Monday, U.S. customs agents will begin inspections on U.S.-bound containers by the end of this year and Argentine officials will do the same at U.S. terminals, the head of Argentina’s tax collection agency, Alberto Abad, told a news conference.Full Story
