Ten Muslim men facing terrorism charges in Australia have launched a hunger strike in prison to press for the right to pray together, their lawyer said. The suspects, who are being held in solitary confinement at a maximum security prison in southeastern Victoria state, began refusing food this week, lawyer Rob Stary told national radio. The 10 men were among 18 alleged Islamic militants arrested in Sydney and Melbourne in November, and are awaiting trial on charges of being members of a terrorist organisation. Full Story
