Unknown assailants gunned down a Mexican photographer Thursday outside his home in Michoacan state. Jaime Olvera Bravo, a freelance photographer and former correspondent for La Voz de Michoacan newspaper, was shot at least four times outside his home in the municipality of La Piedad, Mexico City’s El Universal newspaper said. He was the 10th journalist killed in Mexico since President Vicente Fox took office in 2000, according to the New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists.
