Mexican legislators traded punches today in a brawl for control of the chamber of congress where Felipe Calderon is to be inaugurated as president three days from now. Closed-circuit coverage of the floor fight showed MPs of Calderon’s National Action Party (PAN) duking it out with opposition Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) whose candidate, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, claims he was defrauded of the presidency in voting on July 2.
