An Israeli air strike blew up a car in central Gaza on Thursday, killing at least three militants, Palestinian medical workers said. An army spokesman confirmed Israel had launched an air strike. The Islamic Jihad militant group identified one of the dead as Omar al-Khatib, a top commander in Gaza who had survived an Israeli air strike on Tuesday.
