Tunisia’s National Committee for Education, Science and Culture, in co-operation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), held a forum January 21st-23rd in Tunis on Maghreb education. After reviewing the experiences of several countries as to what worked to improve education, last week’s regional workshop on “Education for All in Maghreb: Reforms, Challenges and Horizons” generated a report on the management and future of the sector in five countries.
