‘GoIssue’ Cybercrime Tool Targets GitHub Developers En Masse 

Researchers have discovered a new tool which is being used to target GitHub users. The “GoIssue” cybercrime tool costs around $700 and is distributed via a cybercrime forum. It enables cyberattackers to conduct credential theft, deliver malware, and attack supply chains among other things. GoIssue has been linked to a previous GitHub repository extortion campaign called Gitloker. It provides bulk email capabilities for attackers and contains sophisticated data collection features. The tool is part of a new campaign where attackers are increasingly targeting developers.
