#2 – China CCP to Nationalize Jack Ma’s Alibaba and Ant Group:  Recent reports from China seemingly indicate that the Chinese government is planning to nationalize Alibaba and the Ant Group, founded by mogul Jack Ma.

#3 – China Steals Personal Data of 80% of US Adults:  According to a report that aired on CBS, the Chinese government may have stolen the personal data of 80% of the adults in the United States. Former Director of the US National Counterintelligence and Security Center Bill Evanina warned the public that the People’s Republic of China is actively working to gather American DNA and health information

#4 – Scammers Selling Fake Covid-19 Vaccination Cards for Just $20:  According to researchers, scammers are constructing fraudulent Shopify online stores to sell fake Covid-19 vaccine cards to those who do not want to receive the vaccine. DomainTools found that the decentralized nature of the US healthcare system has allowed for this to happen, as the cards only need to carry the logo from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

#5 – NATO Warns it Will Consider a Military Response to Cyber-Attacks:  In a communique issued by governments attending the latest meeting of the North Atlantic Council in Brussels, the group warned that it is prepared to treat cyberattacks in the same manner as a physical armed attack against any of its allies. This would include some sort of military response against the perpetrators. The new Comprehensive Cyber Defense Policy is rooted in invoking Article 5 on a case-by-case basis in the event of a cyberattack.

#6 – Sacked Employee Deletes 21GB of Credit Union Files:  Juliana Barile of Brooklyn, a former credit union employee, is currently facing a decade behind bars after pleading guilty to destroying large amounts of corporate data in revenge for being fired. Barile admitted to one count of computer intrusion due to unauthorized access to the data on her former employer’s computer system. Barile allegedly accessed the file server of the New York-based credit union two days after her termination.

#7 – 1M Stolen Credit Cards Hit Dark Web for Free:  Hundreds of thousands of active credit cards have hit the web for free. The incident is aimed at promoting AllWorld.Cards, a new cybercriminals’ dark website for selling payment credentials online. Threat actors have allegedly stolen and leaked the one million cards for free to advertise the site to other cybercriminals and allow them to test the resources for free before eventually paying for the new service.

#8 – Misconfigured Server Leaks US Terror Watchlist:  Bob Diachenko, head of security research for Comparitech, stated that he discovered a configuration error that leaked a secret watchlist of suspected terrorists maintained by the FBI. Diachenko stated that he discovered the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) list on July 19. The server was not fixed for several weeks despite being reported, according to Comparitech.

#9 – Dozens Missing in Nigeria’s Latest School Kidnapping:  In the early morning of February 17th, dozens of schoolboys and staff at the Government Science college in the Kagara district of Niger state were kidnapped after gunmen stormed the building. This marks the latest event in a string of high school abductions occurring in the northern states of Nigeria

#10 – In Continued Escalation of Crisis: China flanks Taiwan with military exercises in air and sea:  On April 5th, China’s armed forces conducted military exercises simultaneously to the east and west of Taiwan.  The move has been identified as a warning to the island and its ally, the United States.
