DEF CON 34 -AUGUST 6–9

Bryson Bort –DEF CON 34 ICS Village
August 6–9 | Las Vegas Convention Center
Bryson, co-founder of ICS Village, will help run three days of operational-technology programming featuring industrial equipment, live demonstrations, workshops, and two stages of talks. Topics include protocol exploitation, threat hunting, AI-enabled attack tooling, and lessons from electric-sector incidents.

Kent Wilson and Bugcrowd –Bug Bounty Village
August 6–9 | Las Vegas Convention Center
Kent and Bugcrowd will support the DEF CON 34 Bug Bounty Village, which brings together ethical hackers, platforms, and security organizations for talks, workshops, practical challenges, and community engagement.

Bob Gourley –DEF CON 34 Quantum Village
August 6–9 | Las Vegas Convention Center
Bob will be based primarily at Quantum Village, helping lead its Oxford Union-style debates and engaging with quantum physicists, security researchers, and hackers examining quantum computing and post-quantum security.

Bob Gourley –VETCON 2026: Operation Agentic
August 6–9 | Co-located with DEF CON 34
Bob will participate in VETCON, which connects the veteran, military, cybersecurity, and hacker communities through networking, technical education, and professional development.

Military Cyber Professionals Association –DEF CON Arcade Party
Friday, August 7 | 8:00 p.m.–late | LVCC West 3
Bob and other OODA Network members plan to attend this official DEF CON party hosted by MCPA and friends. Admission and games are free for DEF CON attendees, with donations supporting MCPA’s nonprofit STEM-education mission.

Jessica and the US Cyber Games team are hosting a free day of cyber competition, networking, and workforce development. Programming includes a SkillBit Attack-and-Defense competition supporting charitable causes, a Hack The Box CTF Showdown, interactive challenges, and a global livestream.
