Newsweek, the magazine that was so sure that we were flushing Korans down toilets, now uses its mind reading powers to explain away content it hasn’t heard.
There are plenty of other sites that address journalists as political hacks and MSM bias, so I won’t try to replicate that here. Let’s just take a minute to remind ourselves of a few key data points:
– Everyone was sure Iraq had WMDs
– We conquered, but didn’t secure Iraqi ministries and other facilities
– A number of highly suspect sites were never even inspected
– The biggest data set likely to produce meaningful info on WMD is being given short shrift
If I didn’t know any better I’d say that the people screaming the loudest about the misguided reasons for going to war in Iraq didn’t actually care about proving their case.
