Andrew Gary is a MPH student at Gillings School of Global Public Health. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, where he has a B.A. in History and Peace, War, and Defense. He was awarded honors for his thesis on the Reconstruction Era focusing on the use of federal troops to maintain law and order in Louisiana and South Carolina. His plans for the future include working in the field of emergency management.
