The German government says it’s lifting restrictions on exports of military equipment to Israel

Germany lifts export ban after Gaza ceasefire holds.

Germany will resume military equipment exports to Israel starting November 24, ending restrictions imposed in August after Israel’s takeover of Gaza City. Government spokesperson Sebastian Hille said the ceasefire in place since October 10 has stabilized conditions, forming the basis for the decision. He emphasized that Berlin expects the ceasefire to continue and humanitarian aid to flow as agreed. Israel’s foreign minister welcomed the move, noting Germany’s longstanding support.
