The data of over one million individuals was compromised in the recent data breach of Connecticut healthcare provider Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC). The incident was discovered on January 2, when the organization found unusual activity on its network. The attacker was able to access or exfiltrate patient health records, containing information such as Social Security numbers, test results, diagnosis and treatment information, and health insurance information.  CHC said that 1,060,936 people were impacted by the data breach. The company has not yet shared details as to who perpetrated the attack, and no known ransomware group has claimed responsibility.
