113,000 Impacted by Data Breach at Virginia Mental Health Authority

Ransomware attack exposes data of RBHA patients and staff.

Richmond Behavioral Health Authority says a late‑September ransomware attack encrypted parts of its network and may have exposed personal information for more than 113,000 people. RBHA is urging affected individuals to watch for signs of identity theft while noting it has no definitive evidence of data access. The Qilin ransomware group later claimed responsibility and posted hundreds of thousands of stolen files online.
