Wayne Memorial Hospital has confirmed that it was the victim of a data breach.

Wayne Memorial Hospital is notifying over 160,000 individuals that their personal data was stolen during a ransomware attack that occurred between May 30 and June 3, 2024. The breach exposed sensitive information including names, Social Security numbers, medical records, financial data, and more. Although the Monti ransomware group claimed responsibility, the hospital has found no evidence that the stolen data has been misused for identity theft or fraud.
