Krispy Kreme confirms over thousands of affected users in a 2024 ransomware attack.

Following a late 2024 ransomware attack claimed by the Play group, Krispy Kreme reported that 161,676 individuals’ data was compromised, including Social Security numbers, health details, and payment information. Most affected are current or former employees and their families, with nearly 7,000 Texans impacted. The breach, which resulted in $11 million in losses, involved 184 GB of leaked data and remains under investigation.
