7-Eleven has confirmed that it was the victim of a data breach.

A mid‑April breach of 7‑Eleven systems exposed personal information affecting roughly 185,300 individuals. The ShinyHunters extortion group claimed responsibility, initially demanding ransom and later selling and leaking the data online. The compromised systems contained franchise‑related documents, and some individuals had additional data fields exposed. ShinyHunters has recently escalated attacks on major organizations’ Salesforce environments through phishing and misconfigurations.
