An international law enforcement operation has targeted websites used in DDoS attacks.

An international law enforcement operation lead by Europol has taken down 27 websites used to facilitate DDoS attacks. The operation also lead to dozens of individuals being identified as potential users of the sites. Several people were also arrested and charged with using the sites to launch DDoS attacks.
