Healthcare organizations are being consistently targeted by ransomware actors, and three big organizations operating in the sector this week suffered attacks. A dialysis firm, DaVita, was first impacted by a ransomware attack on April 12. Then, on April 14, Bell Ambulance of Milwaukee disclosed a data security incident. The Medusa ransomware group had claimed an attack on the company in March. The third impacted company was Alabama Ophthalmology Associates, disclosing the attack on April 10.
