Cybersecurity researchers have warned that security cameras are vulnerable to remote hacking.

Bitsight has issued a warning that 40,000 security cameras are vulnerable to remote hacking. The camers use HTTP to transmit their live feeds which leaves them exposed to hacking. The company said that these cameras are used by individuals and companies around the world.
