The Center for Vein Restoration, a vein care provider, has disclosed a recent data breach. Around 446,000 individuals are impacted by the breach, as their personal, medical, and financial information has been compromised. The organization identified the incident on October 6. An attacker was able to gain unauthorized access to files which contained employee and patient information. The potentially compromised information includes Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, health insurance information, and financial information. The company has not shared any details about how the breach occurred or who was behind it.
