7‑Eleven confirmed a data breach after the ShinyHunters group claimed to have stolen more than 600,000 Salesforce records containing personal and corporate information. The intrusion affected systems used to store franchisee documents, and the company reported that only two Maine residents were confirmed impacted so far. ShinyHunters threatened to leak the data unless a ransom was paid and later attempted to sell the dataset for $250,000.
