Apple has released updates to iOS and macOS to prevent malicious attacks.
Apple issued security updates to fix a medium-severity vulnerability in the FontParser component of iOS and macOS. The flaw could be triggered by malicious fonts embedded in documents, emails, or web content, leading to app crashes or memory corruption. The updates apply to both new and older versions of iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and visionOS, including iOS 26.0.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.0.1. Although no exploits have been observed in the wild, Apple urges users to update promptly to avoid potential service disruptions.
