Bluesky was targeted by a largescale DDoS attack.
Bluesky experienced significant service outages after a sophisticated DDoS attack that began late on April 15 and continued for roughly 24 hours. The platform reported intermittent disruptions across feeds, notifications, threads, and search but found no evidence of unauthorized access to private user data. A pro‑Iran hacktivist group called 313 Team claimed responsibility, though their involvement has not been independently verified. Bluesky stated it successfully mitigated the attack and prevented prolonged downtime despite the sustained assault.
