Hackers claim theft of Brightspeed customer data.

Brightspeed is investigating after the Crimson Collective hacking group claimed to have stolen personal information belonging to more than a million customers. The company says it is still assessing the situation and has notified authorities while it works to verify the breach. Crimson Collective shared samples of the alleged data with security researchers and pointed to past high‑profile intrusions, including its breach of Red Hat’s GitLab instance. That earlier attack later forced Nissan to disclose exposure of customer information.
