A Chinese state linked group has been accused of hacking SingTel.

A Chinese state linked group has been accused of hacking Singaporian telecoms provider SingTel’s systems. The group was identified as Volt Typhoon. The attack is reported to have taken place in July as part of global attacks on telecoms systems by the group. Volt Typhoon has previously been identified as conducting attacks on critical infrastructure in several countries including the United States.
