CISA and FBI Raise Alerts on Exploited Flaws and Expanding HiatusRAT Campaign 

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has raised an alert on the expanding influence of the HiatusRAT campaign. The operation is expanding its influence to multiple countries and is using techniques such as scanning and brute-force authentication cracking. HiatusRAT is targeting web cameras and DVRs. The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) has also announced two new security vulnerabilities. The exploits involve improper access control and an untrusted pointer dereference allowing escalation privileges.
