There has been a surge in Iranian-aligned cyber operations targeting Israeli networks, analysts report.

Israel’s June 13 operation against Iranian targets was followed by heightened cyber activity from groups aligned with Iran, including claims of attacks on Israeli alert systems, media outlets, and energy firms. Analysts at Radware and Google report APT34 and APT39 focusing on espionage, disruption, and coordinated information campaigns that employ AI-driven botnets. This exchange extends a cyber rivalry dating back to the 2010 Stuxnet incident and has intensified since 2020.
